Dream Logic Tarot

About the deck

The Dream Logic Tarot is seventy-nine cards: temples, moons, waterfalls and the geometry that ties them together. Seventy-nine images drawn from the akashic records, found and chosen card by card by Jay Gidwitz, with AI as the lens.

The tradition

The deck follows the Thoth naming where it differs from the Rider–Waite: Art for the fourteenth trump, Transcendence for the twentieth, The Universe for the last, and Disks for the suit of earth. Its meanings are the common ground of both traditions, written plainly.

The seventy-ninth is The Observerse, which belongs to this deck alone. It is shuffled in with the rest and turns up when it turns up.

The table

The live reading shuffles and deals in your browser: the shuffle is a fair random draw, and about a third of cards fall reversed. When the last card is turned, a short written interpretation reads the cards together, in light of your question. It is built for reflection: a place to lay a question out in ten parts and look at it slowly.

What is stored

When you deal a reading, the cards and your question (if you asked one) are saved so that the reading's link can be opened again and shared. A reading is not tied to a name, an email address, or an account; there is no way to find it without its link, and readings older than a year are cleared. To keep the interpretations affordable, each network address may start a limited number of readings a day; the address itself is kept only as a hash that changes daily. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which stores the readings; the written interpretation is composed by Anthropic's Claude from the cards and your question, which are sent to it for that purpose; visits are measured with Google Analytics. If you would rather your question were not saved, leave it blank — the reading works just the same.

If you buy a keepsake, the purchase record adds your email address (from Stripe, which handles the payment; we never see your card), a copy of the reading, the narration produced by ElevenLabs from its text, and the video we make from them. The files are kept for one year.

If you buy a gift, its record holds the name you gave it to, and — only if you asked us to send it for you — the recipient's email address, your message and the date. Those are used to deliver the gift and to remind whoever holds it before it expires, and for nothing else.

If you email a reading to yourself, we keep your address and which readings were sent to it, so the same inbox cannot be flooded. If you tick the box, or ask on the deck page to hear when the printed deck is ready, we will write to you about it — rarely, with an unsubscribe link in every email. Otherwise the address is used only to send what you asked for. It is never shared.

If you preorder the printed deck, Stripe passes us your name, email and shipping address, which are used to send the deck and to write to you about your order.
